Q re Max Damage - Guild Wars Forums

A silly question I know but how do you know if a weapon is max damage? Is there a set limit?/ colour?

axe 6-28
wands/staves 11-22
bows 15-28
hammers 19-35

As for colour, that just depends on what type of weapon it is as they all look different, you can't get different varieties of the same type if thats what you ment, except for a few like longbows. Remember you can also dye certain parts of weapons.
Also, if you were talking about the colour of the items name, you can get:
white = common
blue = uncommon
purple = umm..very uncommon...
gold = rare

EDIT: Forgot about blue.

Also, I've never seen any of these but apparently others have so.
